Radio Free Pauly and Hump Day Pimp Day
I taped my interview with Sean on early on Saturday aternoon for the Lord Admiral Card Club Radio Show and Podcast. If you don't know by now, it's the best podcast dedicated to poker in the universe. Over the last few weeks, I've become a huge cult figure in Canada. I'm happy to be a part of their amazing show.
Sean and Brent are working hard every week to get their podcast done (for free) so stop by and show your support.
You can download the MP3 of this week's show... Episode 30: Here.
You can download the MP3 of last week's show... Episode 29: Here.
You can read this week's shows notes... Here.
My interview starts at 18:55. We talk about the first week of WSOP action.
If you want to catch up and listen to previous episodes, please visit their archives over at Brainscat. Stop by their site and download the extra nuggets. Thanks again to Sean and Stacks for having me on.
Big Pimpin'
My buddy Spaceman wrote his first article for Poker Player Newspaper. Check it out here.
My brother Derek was mentioned on Oddjack today. They loved his OTB Pissing entry.
I've met some interesting folks covering the World Series of Poker. It's time I pimp their shit. First of all, the Poker Prof is hard at work behind the scenes. We keep him hidden in a secure, non-disclosed location (somewhere near Area 51) where he's been writing code and creating programs that will help provide some of the best WSOP information on the internet. Make sure you check out his oustanding work on WSOP standings and total prize winners. He's also been creating a kick ass database of WSOP Tournament Results.
Dan from Pokerati has some of the best behind the scenes coverage of the WSOP. Read his latest post called We interrupt this broadcat...
Jay Greenspan has the best final table recaps out there with his Daily WSOP Report. I have the pleasure of sitting next to Jay during every final table and we keep things interesting with random prop bets.
Over at Poker Pages, Amy Calistri is writing great stuff everyday on her blog including beaver stroking. She's also been trying to seduce World Champions when she can.
Jen, Heather, and the folks over at Poker Wire are providing the best up to date chip counts.
Steve aka Foiled Coup has snapped some good photos, especially of Liz Liu.
BJ is working his ass off for Card Player providing hand by hand coverage of final tables.
Staffan from Sweden works at Poker Listings and they have good interviews.
Jon from Poker Trails is hard at work in the trenches along with Oliver at Poker News.
Nolan Dalla has excellent reports on every final table.
Phil Gordon's podcast is good shit.
I have been providing final table recaps over at Poker Player Newspaper.
Finally, go look at Flip Chip's 2005 WSOP Photo Gallery.
